Bring together Date: December 2004 Location: South Elgin, IL | Black ink for watercolor that doesn't drain I'm so into watercoloring right now. I've been using Memento Tuxedo Black but I find that it will bleed if it gets wet when I watercolor. I know I can heat emboss the image prior to watercoloring, simply is there a non-bleeding ink? I don't want to have to heat emboss every time I color. |

I was having the same problem and only recently got the Jet Blackness Ranger Archival ink- love it!! Very well-baked images, no bleeding with watercolors...the merely thing is it does stain my stamps, but if y'all used the cleaner recommended on the ink pad it might help with that- just personally the stains don't bother me __________________ |

Memento isn't fabricated for watercolor - information technology's made for solvents like Copic Markers. Waterproof inks include Stewart Superior India Ink, MFT's black, Stampin' Up! Archival Bones Black, Ranger Archival, etc. |

Clearsnap has an archival dye ink that works great for watercoloring - we accept a product review on it here: Splitcoaststampers - Product Focus - ColorBox Archival Dye I mostly use Stazon for watercolored images. |

I use Republic of india Ink Jet Blackness as information technology never bleeds peculiarly when you lot're using a lot of water for colour wash back grounds. |

Another vote for Versafine Blackness Onyx, merely make sure information technology's dry out. |

I bought VersaFine and Ranger. Take just done basic stamping with them (not watercolor however) but I am in love with the VersaFine. The blackness is so crisp and dark. |

I don't watercolor with information technology because in my climate information technology requires heat setting but I Beloved stamping with it. |

I've been using Fun Stamper Journey black for watercoloring and love it! No demand to emboss and I usually let it dry for a couple of minutes before coloring. I take had it bleed a bit when I over sarturate whatsoever I'm trying to color. |
